Privacy policy

This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's handled. It applies to the mobile app and this website.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and the credentials needed to keep your account secure.

Content you create. Private recipes, favorites, and meal plan entries you add are stored against your account so they're there the next time you open the app. They are never made public or shown to other users.

Photos you upload. If you add a photo to a private recipe, it's stored in our file storage provider and linked to your account.

To run the app: signing you in, saving your recipes and plan, and showing your favorites back to you. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it.

We use a small number of service providers to run the app: a hosting provider for the database and file storage, and an email provider for account emails (password resets, sign-in codes). They only receive what they need to provide that service, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account deletes your private recipes, favorites, and meal plan with it.

You can edit or delete your private recipes, favorites, and meal plan at any time from within the app. You can delete your account entirely from Settings, which removes the information above.

The app isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
